PGL Major Antwerp: Vitality and ENCE One Victory Away from the Legends Stage

This year’s first CS:GO major PGL Antwerp 2022 has started yesterday with its Challengers Stage. Following the first round of the event, four teams – Team Vitality, ENCE, G2 and forZe – have won their first two matches and are already one victory away from advancing to the next stage.

Meanwhile another four teams – Renegades, Team Liquid, 9z Team and IHC Esports – are facing elimination after losing their first two matches. Both the leaders and the outsiders of the stage will play in deciding best-of-three matches, while the teams with the 1-1 scores will play in best-of-one series. Today’s schedule is as follows (UK time):

2-0 score matches:

• 1:30 PM – Vitality vs forZe
• 5:15 – ENCE vs G2

1-1 score matches:

• 11:00 AM – Spirit vs EF
• 11:00 AM – BNE vs Imperial
• 12:15 PM – Astralis vs MIBR
• 12:15 PM – COL vs Outsiders

0-2 score matches:

• 1:30 PM – RNG vs IHC
• 5:15 PM – Liquid vs 9z

The Challengers Stage will conclude on May 12th with its best eight teams advancing to the next Legends Stage. There they will compete alongside the leaders of the RMR-events, among which are Heroic, CPHF, BIG, Cloud9, FURIA, FaZe, NiP and NAVI.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 takes place in Belgium and features a $1,000,000 prize pool. The tournament will conclude at Antwerps Sportpaleis on May 22nd, with its winner claiming half of the prize money.
