Lucky to Depart Astralis Soon, Already Looking for a New Team

19-years-old Danish AWPer Philip "Lucky" Ewald has announced that he will leave Astralis soon, as his contract with the organization expires in few weeks. The player has been allowed to look for a new team and feels “more motivated than ever to get back to the top”.

Lucky has been part of Astralis since August 2021, however due to the team’s lacking results he was benched and replaced by a 22-years-old Danish player Asger "farlig" Jensen.

The change has not helped the team to improve their results, as last month they placed 5-8th at ESL Pro League 15 and finished 6th in the RMR-event, barely qualifying for PGL Major Antwerp 2022. This month the team will compete at the major and at IEM XVII – Dallas.

Astralis:

  • Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke
  • Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
  • Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander (captain)
  • Asger "farlig" Jensen
  • Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
