The third season of Dota 2 Champions League 2021 has concluded with an unexpected result – in the tournament’s grand finals HellRaisers, which includes such prominent players as Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok and Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov, was defeated by a Kazakh team V-Gaming.

V-Gaming, which includes former Empire and Pango player Aybek "Naive-" Tokayev, have been showing great performance throughout the event. The team started the tournament by placing first in the group stage after winning eight out of nine games, and then proceeded to make it all the way through the upper bracket, outplaying B8 (2-1), PuckChamp (2-1), and HellRaisers (2-0) in their way to the grand finals. The final series of the event concluded with a 3-0 score in their favour.

D2CL 2021 Season 3 was played online from August 14th to September 15th. The event featured 10 teams from CIS competing for a $50,000 prize pool. The results are as follows:
