Gambit and Spirit to Play at PGL Stockholm Major
Gambit Esports and Team Spirit have become the second and third teams to guarantee themselves invites for PGL Stockholm Major. After two days of IEM XVI – Fall: CIS, these teams now both have 3-1 match scores.
More important though is the fact that both K23 and forZe, who play in Group B, have lost their chances to advance to the playoffs. These teams used to be the main competitors for Gambit and Spirit, however now they will not be able to get enough points to overcome them. Currently the results of the group stage are following:

The group stage will conclude later today – the teams placed first and second in the groups will advance to the playoffs, while the teams from the third places will play for the fifth place at the event.
PGL Major Stockholm 2021 will be played on October 26th – November 7th in Stockholm, Sweden, featuring 24 teams competing for a $2,000,000 prize pool. Besides Gambit and Spirit, currently only NAVI are confirmed to partake in the major. Their seeds will depend on the event’s final results.
