Chaos to Leave Counter Strike
The American organization Chaos Esports Club has announced that they will release their CS:GO roster by the end of this year. Besides that, they are looking to sell their Rainbow Six: Siege roster. This will leave the organization without a single team – instead, they will shift their focus on content creation.
Chaos EC, earlier known as Digital Chaos, have been represented in CS:GO since 2018. Lately the team’s results improved as they emerged victorious at a number of second tier events, as well as placed first at ESEA Season 34: Premier Division and IEM XV – Beijing Online: North America.
Currently the team is competing at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: North America, where they already placed first in the group stage and advanced to the playoffs. The team’s last event under the Chaos EC brand will be IEM XV – Global Challenge, a $500,000 online tournament scheduled for December 15th – 20th.
