Brazilian Teams Might Miss Six Invitational 2021

Ubisoft have revealed that Brazilian teams might not be able to attend Six Invitational 2021, which is supposed to take place next month in Paris. Currently the company is trying to find a way to allow these teams to compete, and will be keep the community informed on any updates.

The company reported that earlier this month the local authorities had given them a permission to host the event in Paris from May 11th to 23rd. However, on April 13th the French government suspended flights between Brazil and France. The tournament’s line-up includes six teams from Brazil, among which are FaZe Clan, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, Team One and FURIA Esports.

Six Invitational 2021 was supposed to take place in February, however was postponed at the last moment due to French government banning non-EU citizens from entering the country. The tournament will take place in a studio format without live audience. Its base prize pool is set at $500,000 with a possibility of reaching $3,000,000 through crowdfunding.
