The Ukrainian organization founded by Danil "Dendi" Ishutin B8 Esports has announced that Enis "5up" Elfki is no longer part of their Dota 2 roster. This leaves the team without a player just a week before the start of the first season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021.

5up is a German semi-support player, who has been part of B8 since this August. Although neither the organization nor the player have commented on the reasons for his departure from the team, there are reports that 5up is scheduled to undergo a surgery in the near future which prevents him from competing.

Earlier this month B8 signed three Brazilian players, Leonardo "RdO" Fernandes, Diego "Sexyfat" Barini Santamaria and Heitor "Duster" Pereira, all of which earlier played in Midas Club. Since then the team placed 5-6th in the decider tournament for ESL One CIS Online Season 1, securing their place in the league’s second division.
